My Story

I’m Brittney, a Canadian-born yoga and wellness educator with over 15 years of experience supporting students through movement, breath, and holistic transformation. I’m a Senior Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance, and I offer a wide range of classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings designed to meet people exactly where they are.

My yoga journey began in my teenage years, but it wasn’t until my early 20s that the practice truly transformed my life. In 2008, during a challenging period, I discovered Hot Yoga—a practice that healed me from the inside out. It alleviated years of chronic back pain from my childhood as a competitive gymnast and brought a sense of calm, clarity, and resilience I had never experienced before. That shift sparked a deep calling to teach and to help others access the same sense of peace and self-belief.

In 2010, I completed my Bikram Yoga teacher training, a journey that led me to the UK. I spent seven years teaching full-time in London, where I continued to expand my knowledge through training in Vinyasa and Kids Yoga. During this time, I competed in the UK National Yoga Championships for four seasons, placing second twice, and later had the honour of coaching the youth team.

In 2017, my growing family relocated from London to Surrey.  I balanced motherhood alongside my teaching career, trained in pre- and postnatal yoga and became a certified breathwork facilitator.  Now that my two boys are in school, I’m fully devoted to expanding my work in yoga and wellness.

What drives me most is witnessing transformation in my students. I support their journeys through asana, breathwork, meditation, and community gatherings, creating spaces where people can release the old, step into the new, and reconnect with their inner strength. I believe the physical practice of yoga is a powerful gateway to growth—seeing your body change often unlocks the realisation that you’re capable of far more than you ever imagined.

My teaching is deeply holistic, weaving together breathwork, manifestation practices, releasing techniques, and journaling to help students align with their intentions both on and off the mat.

I also attune my life and work to the Moon cycles, honouring the importance of releasing what no longer serves us to create space for new opportunities. I have co-founded Lunar Links Wellbeing with a great friend and fellow yoga teacher Alix. Together we hold monthly Full Moon Ceremonies and host a wide variety of retreats.
